Today all the worms came out in the rain. We decided to make a wormery. We looked at pictures and instructions to find out how to do this, then got busy. We hope the worms like their new home!

This week has been all about snails. Earlier this week, one of our friends brought in some snails from his garden, this was a catalyst for learning across all areas of learning.
Today the children have enjoyed some Bear Hunt yoga in the sunshine followed by discussions about things that make us feel happy. What a wonderful way to begin our wellbeing week.
Last weekend we had a visitor in Nursery who was caught on camera…… Mr Bear! The children were thrilled to see that a bear had come to visit us in Nursery and were eager to find him and entice him back in. They made posters and went all around the school hunting for him, what an exciting week!
The children in Nursery have loved retelling our Bear Hunt story over the past few weeks and were thrilled to take part in our outdoor sensory bear hunt. We walked across grass, through mud and water and even added some flour for the snow.
This week we have been learning about how to keep our teeth healthy. We read the story Topsy and Tim Go to The Dentist, then learnt about how to brush our teeth. The children were eager to share their experiences of visiting the Dentist and even had a go at role playing being a Dentist.
This week the children have been noticing changes to our chicken coop. They were very interested in the new green Egloo and feeding hopper as they eagerly helped to collect eggs, and feed the chickens. Today they noticed Mr Magnal building the coop and had lots of questions about all of the tools he was using.
Huge thanks to all of our families who joined us for the Easter stay and play session this week. We had lots of fun getting crafty and egg hunting.
The children were very excited to meet CC today who came in to show us some of her Bollywood dance moves. They loved trying the different movements and putting them together to create a dance. Well done everyone.
Today the sun came out and so did the bubble mixture. The children enjoyed using different shaped wands to make the biggest bubbles they could.
