We were thrilled to welcome so many families into school for our picnic this week. The weather stayed dry and we had lots of fun, eating cuddling our teddies and playing games.

This week we had fun exploring the sounds of the big drum. We used our super listening skills to help us to echo sounds and beats played by the adult.

Hooray our hatching chick eggs arrived this morning. We were all very curious about them.

What a wonderful sports afternoon we had today. The sun was shining, families came to cheer us on and the children were fabulous! Well done to everyone who took part.

Today all the worms came out in the rain. We decided to make a wormery. We looked at pictures and instructions to find out how to do this, then got busy. We hope the worms like their new home!

This week has been all about snails. Earlier this week, one of our friends brought in some snails from his garden, this was a catalyst for learning across all areas of learning.

Today the children have enjoyed some Bear Hunt yoga in the sunshine followed by discussions about things that make us feel happy. What a wonderful way to begin our wellbeing week.
